The School of Modern Language at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) invites applications for a part-time Lecturer in Japanese during AY2022-2023, start date of August 1, 2022. The teaching load is two in-person courses, meeting three days/week (MWF): one beginning and one intermediate-level for the fall 2022 semester.
Qualifications: a minimum of Master’s degree is required, ideally in the field of Applied Linguistics, Foreign Language Teaching or another related field. Native or near-native fluency in Japanese is required. The ideal candidate must have an experience teaching the Japanese language at the college level for a minimum of two years, and show the ability and enthusiasm to teach communicative, learner-centered, language and culture courses, and to support the Japanese program and the mission of the college.
