The Department of Foreign Languages of Kennesaw State University invites applications for a part-time instructor in Japanese beginning in January, 2022. The teaching load is 3 upper-level courses, each meeting face-to-face on Mondays and Wednesdays, and on-line (asynchronous) on Fridays.
Qualifications: a Master’s degree or foreign language equivalent is required, ideally in Japanese, Asian Studies, or related field. Native or near-native fluency in Japanese is required. The ideal candidate must have experienced teaching Japanese at the college level, and show the ability and enthusiasm to teach communicative, learner-centered, language and culture courses, and to support the Japanese program and the mission of the college.
