You will hear their experiences with plenty of Q&A time. K-12 students, college students, and their parents are welcome to attend!

Senpai (Alumni)
Courtney WadeCourtney has a BA in Psychology & Linguistics with a minor in Japanese from Emory University, and an MA in International Training and Education from American University. Between degrees, she spent three years in Japan working as an Assistant Language Teacher through the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme. Since completing her Masters, Courtney has worked in the international education and public diplomacy field in roles such as Participant Recruiter for the U.S. Department of State-funded FLEX/YES exchange programs with American Councils for International Education, and as the Program Associate at Global Ties U.S. in charge of handling logistics for the Cultural Performer and Youth Ambassador programs for the USA Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai. Ben KopfBen earned B.A. in Asian studies, business concentration from Kennesaw State University. He is currently a program manager at Amazon Japan. He studied at Toyo University from 2017-2018. Most recently, he worked at Japanese logistics company in Atlanta from 2019-2022. | Nicole MeanorNicole is the University Relations Manager for Asia, the U.K. and Ireland, and Oceania at ISEP Study Abroad. Nicole earned her B.A. Cum Laude in East Asian Studies at Agnes Scott College, participating in two Summer study abroad programs in Japan along the way. She then taught English as a Foreign Language in suburban Japan for three years as a member of the JET Program. Deeply inspired by her experience on JET, she applied to the University of Pennsylvania to pursue graduate studies in Education and completed her M.S.Ed. in Intercultural Communication in 2015. Prior to joining ISEP, Nicole was the Senior Program Coordinator at Kennesaw State University and served on the ISEP Council of Advisors. Zak MakdaZak earned BSc Computer Science with a minor in Japanese from Georgia Tech. He is a Software Engineer at Woven Planet Holdings in Japan. He was also a Software Engineer at Goldman Sachs Japan from 2018-2022. |
